Installation through certified Chofu partner installers for air-to-water heat pumps, nationwide
The installation service is available nationwide through certified Chofu partners. NEDAVI imports and delivers the Chofu heat pump, sizes the system and sends you the quote. Installation and commissioning are done by a certified installer from the Chofu partner network, vetted by NEDAVI, and you choose which one. Our own staff do not install; we coordinate the job from the quote to the first start-up.
How the partner is chosen: after sizing you get the quote together with the contact details of the partner installers in your area. You pick one, or tell us which installer you already work with. We agree the date together, and the installer fits the heat pump and commissions it. The full list, county by county, is on the Partners page.
What installation includes
- Positioning and fixing the outdoor unit on an anti-vibration mount
- Pipework to the cylinder and to the manifold inside the house
- Fitting the cylinder and the expansion vessel
- Electrical connection and protection devices in the consumer unit
- Filling, bleeding and balancing the system
- Commissioning, setting the heating curve and showing you how to use it
How long it takes
A typical installation, in a house where the heating distribution is already in place, takes one day. With a new cylinder and pipework as well, it takes two days.
No F-gas certification needed
Chofu pumps are monobloc: the refrigerant is sealed inside the outdoor unit, charged at the factory. Only water goes into the house. No refrigerant connections are made on site, so installation does not require an F-gas certificate.
