There is currently no funding round open for heat pumps
There is no programme open on afm.ro through which you can get money for a heat pump. If you have read somewhere about 30,000 lei, that is the cap of a different programme, for solar panels. Below is exactly where each one stands.
The two programmes
Which one funds what
They are often confused, because in everyday speech both are called “Casa Verde”. They are different programmes, with different aims.

The amounts, conditions and timetable are set for each round. If AFM opens one, check the guide they publish first, not what suppliers’ websites say, ours included.

In the meantime
What you can prepare now
The documents below were required in previous rounds and are hard to get at the last minute. We cannot guarantee the next guide will ask for exactly these.
- 1Land register extract The property must be registered. The extract usually has to be recent, no older than 30 days, so get this one last.
- 2Tax clearance certificate From the town hall, showing you have no debts to the local budget.
- 3ID document and bank account The application is made by a private individual, the owner or a co-owner.
- 4Sizing your home You can do it now, in two minutes, on the sizing page. The figure does not expire.
No need to wait
The pump does not depend on the programme
Our quote is not tied to any funding round. If you want the pump now, you buy it on our normal commercial terms; if a round opens later, we prepare your application then, free of charge.
